They NEVER go on sale. I finally bought one on Ebay last week because I've been watching for a sale for months and had finally given up. I was excited to find an airflow for $100. One Step to a [Almost] Mosquito Free Backyard

I just read a news article (found here) on why mosquitoes will be bad in Utah this year (rain and warm temps) and what to do about it.
I have to share a product we just found and fell in love with (is love a little strong for mosquito control?). Cutter Backyard Bug Control.

You attach it to your hose and spray your grass. It's supposed to control mosquitoes (both kill and repel) for up to 8 weeks.
I can't speak for how long it actually lasts since we only applied it a few days ago, but it works.
I went for a walk/run last night and killed 20+ mosquitoes in an hour, plus I was constantly swatting them away.

I came home and sat on the porch with my husband for 30+ minutes and we each killed ONE mosquito.
I couldn't believe the difference. Without wearing repellent we enjoyed half an hour outdoors in the evening and saw a total of TWO mosquitoes, that's unheard of around our house.

I felt it was COMPLETELY worth the $10 it cost to be able to enjoy our yard, even if we have to reapply once a month.
AND, right now on Amazon it's only $8.86.

Let's Talk Boogers

Amazon just dropped their price on one of my favorite baby items. The BabyComfyNose. I haven't seen a price this low in over a year.
Now, I know this sounds disgusting, gimicky, and like an unnecessary expense. I thought so too. Then I became tired of not being able to get all the mucous out of my sick baby's nose, after multiple tries, with him screaming and fighting, so I tried it. Game changer.

You can't stick it too far in, like you can the bulb syringe. You have much more suction power. My baby still screamed, but it was over faster. And if you're worried about mucous getting in your mouth, don't, it often doesn't even hit the tissue. And tissues, unlike the NoseFrida which needs filters, with BabyComfyNose a square of toilet paper is all you need.

I'll admit it's not a necessity, you can do a lot with a bulb syringe, however, it's kind of like a swing, and disposable diapers, it makes life so much easier.

This is up there with the Fisher Price Cradle 'N Swing, the Bath Sponge, the Slumber Bear, a stroller, and a baby carrier as one of my favorite things.

This is a great deal for this swing, and since Kohl's no longer allows coupon codes to be used on baby products (congratulations if you snagged a deal on my last post), I don't anticipate a better one anytime soon.
Plus with this deal there are no hoops to jump through.

I have a Cradle 'n Swing and LOVE it. The option to have side-to-side or front-to-back movement is so nice. My babies like side-to-side when they're tiny and front-to-back when they're bigger.
The only swing people seem to like as well or better is the Mamaroo, which costs twice as much (that's also the best price Amazon's had on the Mamaroo).

There are also good deals today on the coordinating Bouncer and Rock N Play.

Price Drop on E-Cloth Window Cleaning Kit

I hate cleaning.
But since I have to do it, one of my favorite products is the E-cloth window cleaning kit.
Right now it's only $7.78 on Amazon.

I try to avoid most chemical cleaners for multiple reasons
Most of them give me headaches.
They're expensive.
I don't like the thought of my children being exposed to the residues they leave behind.
If they're not in my house my kids can't eat them.

I clean most things with Vinegar or Baking Soda.

I stumbled upon e-cloths just before we bought our house.
I purchased the Home Cleaning Set (also a good price on Amazon right now) and have been very happy with it, but my favorite cloths are the polishing cloths. This price drop gives you the window (and mirror) cleaning cloth and the polishing cloth for the price of just the polishing cloth. Ever heard of Norwex? This is a small fraction of their prices.

I love that I can just use water and I NEVER end up with streaks. The money saved on Windex and Paper towels covers the cost of the cloths and they're easier to use.
